Glassblowing
My body of work mostly focuses on slightly lumpy cylindrical forms.
I started glassblowing at the Pittsburgh Glass Center in high school and was fortunate enough to take classes periodically during my time in Austin. I love glassblowing as a complex, mediative blend of art and sport. It has forever changed the way I look at household glassware and shapes.
I am still seeking to produce a straight cylinder and hope to one day reach venetian goblet level artistry.
